The Assam State School Education Board has officially released a recruitment notification for Junior Administrative Posts to strengthen its administrative functioning. This recruitment offers a golden opportunity for young graduates to gain hands-on experience working with the Education Board of Assam.

Eligible candidates are invited to apply online only for various Junior Administrative positions on a purely contractual basis initially for 11 months, which may be extended based on satisfactory performance and the Board’s requirements.

The total of 08 posts includes reservations as per Government policy.

Required Qualifications

Junior Administrative Assistant:

Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University.
Minimum 50% marks in HSLC (10th), Higher Secondary (12th) & Graduation.
Must have completed at least 6 months Certificate or Diploma in Computer Application from a recognized institute.
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Govt./PSU offices.

Junior Administrative Assistant cum Program Assistant:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or IT discipline with minimum 50% marks in 10th, 12th & Graduation.
MCA holders will be given additional weightage.

Junior Administrative Assistant cum Accounts Assistant:

Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce with minimum 50% marks in 10th, 12th & Graduation.
Must have completed a 6-month Computer Application Certificate.
Candidates with CA Inter qualification and good knowledge of Tally will be given preference.

Other Essential Eligibility

Nationality: Must be an Indian Citizen.
Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 38 years as of 01-01-2025.
Upper age relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST(P)/ST(H) and 3 years for OBC/MOBC as per Govt. rules.
Must be registered with a valid District Employment Exchange of Assam.
Candidates must possess all required qualifications on the date of application submission.

Remuneration

Selected candidates will receive a fixed monthly remuneration of ₹18,000/- during the initial contract period. If the contract is renewed, a 6% increment will be applicable in the next engagement period.

Selection Procedure
