BTC Graduate & Post Graduate Teacher Final Merit List Released – Appointment Ceremony on 18th June 2025

The Director of Education, BTC, Assam, has officially published the final selection merit lists for the recruitment of Graduate Teachers (UGT) and Post Graduate Teachers (PGT). This follows the TET cum Recruitment (TCR) Examination held on 24th November 2024, and considers other eligible weightages, including H.S. TET scores and non-essential qualifications, as per recruitment guidelines.

The selection list is released Category-wise, Medium-wise & Subject-wise and is now available online.

Who Should Check This Notice?

• Candidates who appeared for the TET cum Recruitment Examination (TCR), 2024 under BTC.

• Aspirants of Assistant Teacher and PGT positions in government schools under Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR).

• Candidates awaiting appointment letters or cut-off marks for various teaching categories and subjects.

2. Click on the link for TCR Marks/Selection List

3. Login using Application ID & Password (as used during form submission)

4. View and download your marks and selection status

Selection Process Explained:

Selection Criteria:

• TCR Written Examination Marks (2024)

• Higher Secondary TET Marks (H.S. TET)

• Non-essential educational weightages (if applicable)

Tie-breaker Rule:

• In case of same total marks, preference is given based on age seniority.

Appointment Letter Distribution Ceremony:

Selected candidates will be awarded appointment letters in a formal ceremony:

• Venue: Udalguri College Auditorium Hall, Udalguri District, BTR

• Date: 18 June 2025 (Tuesday)

• Time: 10:00 AM onwards

All selected candidates are requested to attend the event in person and carry a valid photo ID.

Important Instructions for Selected Candidates:

1. Complaints (if any) must be submitted within 7 days from the date of list publication, along with supporting documents. No claims after the deadline will be entertained.

2. Candidates who completed their B.Ed. degrees outside Assam via offline mode will have their appointments put on hold pending verification from the concerned universities. Verification must be completed within 45 days, else the offer will stand cancelled.

3. The Directorate is not responsible for printing/typographical errors. Candidates should cross-check all details and reach out in case of discrepancies.
