Assam ST Scholarship 2025-26 – Apply Online for Pre-Matric & Post-Matric Scholarships
Applications are now open for Assam ST Scholarships 2025-26. The Tribal Affairs Directorate (Plain), Assam calls upon eligible students to apply for fresh and renewal Pre-Matric (Class IX-X) and Post-Matric scholarships for Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates. Submissions must be completed online through the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) at www.scholarships.gov.in.
Eligibility

Applicant must belong to Scheduled Tribe (ST) community of Assam.

Annual family income should not exceed Rs. 2.50 lakh.

Must be studying in Government, Govt.-aided, or recognized institutions with valid U-DISE/AISHE/NCVT codes.

Application Process

Register on NSP via the NSP OTR app (available on Google Play Store) and perform face authentication to generate One Time Registration (OTR).

Ensure Aadhaar and linked mobile number are active for OTR generation.

Upload digital income certificate from Revenue Officer and digital caste certificate issued by District Commissioner.

Ensure bank account is Aadhaar-seeded, as scholarship will be credited directly.

In case of name mismatch, submit a notarized affidavit.
