BTC LP Teacher Recruitment 2025 – Apply Online for Assistant Teacher in Lower Primary Schools

The Directorate of Education, BTC has invited online applications from eligible candidates for the post of Assistant Teacher in Lower Primary (LP) Schools under BTC area. The application process will be conducted online only through the official website from 21st June 2025 to 3rd July 2025 (up to 10:00 PM).

Interested candidates must meet the eligibility criteria including Higher Secondary with 50% marks, D.El.Ed, and TET qualification (ATET/CTET/BTC TET for LP). Selection will be made purely on the basis of merit, considering academic and TET scores, along with additional weightage for NCC, sports, and cultural achievements.

Eligibility Criteria

Essential Qualifications:

Higher Secondary / Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks
2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) OR Graduation
Must have passed ATET / CTET / BTC TET for Lower Primary

Non-Essential Weightage (Max 5 Marks):

Fine Arts / Culture	5

Only maximum of 5 marks awarded even if a candidate qualifies under multiple non-essential categories.

Selection Process

Selection will be made strictly on the basis of merit, computed as follows:

Disqualifications / Restrictions

Candidates with more than two living children born on or after 01.01.2021 are ineligible
Teachers already working in LP Schools under DEE/BTC cannot apply
Candidates with “Not Clear (NC)” academic status are not eligible
One candidate can apply for only one post in one district
Canvassing or multiple applications will lead to rejection
